This cat waits for the tram every single day for the past 10 years... and the reason why iz awesome!
Waiting for public transportation usually iz a terrible way to start your morning, but this kitty haz made it the best part of your day!
At a tram stop in Rotterdam-Kralingen, The Netherlands, you’ll find an adorable cat named Ake who haz been waiting there every day for 10 whole years.
He haz hiz very own spot, and waits there everyday until one of hiz owners comes off and takes him back home.
He haz acquired quite the fanbase, and people just love waiting for the tram with this kitty. It makes their usually dreadful morning routine a little more enjoyable.
He even haz hiz very own facebook page, where people can post pictures of and with him.
And we iz not kidding about him having hiz very own seat. At the stop, you'll find this sign which reads "Seat only to be used by black and white cat."
According to tram driver Stefan Zoutewelle, no one would EVER dare ask the cat to scooch up, even if it’s raining and everyone’s crowded in the shelter.
Sometimes, Ake will hop on the tram with the commuters.
That's right, he actually rides the tram!
But don't worry, the tram drivers, and the community that absolutely adores Ake, always make sure he makes it back safe and sound.
Ake's owner can't believe that her cat haz become such a beloved celebrity.
Although she iz grateful of the community's kindness, people iz a little TOO nice... and haz been over feeding him. Which of course he doesn't mind... but for hiz own health, she haz posted on facebook and signs at the stop to not feed the kitty.
Ake really knows how to milk a crowd: show up every day, get lots of pets, get a seat reserved, and a Facebook page. What a superstar!
