Man rescues tortie kitten from storm drain despite warnings not to
When neighbors heard a kitten’s cry from inside a storm drain, they quickly called the police, firefighters and animal control, but all deemed it to be too dangerous to try to save the kitten.
Jonathan Trantham waz not going to let this kitten's cry go unheard, and he decided to take matters into hiz own hands.
He decided to hop 10 feet down into the storm drain himself to try and rescue the kitten.
“It ran from me the whole time,” he said to CBS Local. “I could duck down and crawl through.”
Not a fan of tight spaces or roaches, the man added "Looking back, I was a little scared."
Neighbors banded together to help get the kitten out, and now she iz saved and ready for adoption!
She waz named "Storm" for obvious reasons.
The funny thing iz, Trantham won't be adopting Storm, because he iz allergic to cats. Yet, he waz still brave enough to go into a tight storm drain and rescue a helpless kitten.
What a hero!
