They waited 28 days for their new cat to come out from hiding, and it waz all worth it
Sometimes it takes us cats some time to get comfortable with new surroundings, and this kitty needed almost a month before she felt like she could trust the humans.
Day 2: Hiding under the sofa (reddit).
This waz the human's first cat, and she waz a bit concerned.
Change can be very scary for cats, and the best way to help them adapt iz to give them a room that they can adjust to, plenty of noms and love, and most importantly patience.
Day 15: She's still hiding.
The kitty waz still taking her time to get adjusted, and the human hoped she would come around eventually... and she would!
Day 21: Progress! She's not hiding during the day!
She still iz a little skiddish around the humans, but now she will be out in the open with them.
Day 28: Success! She finally trusts the humans and goes in for some snuggles and pets!
No more hiding!
This iz their mornings now.
"May I haz some snuggles?"
She iz now so comfortable that the humans can't even stand up! She loves to cuddle in laps all day!
Love and patience can do wonderful things. Hazah!
