Man jumps into river and dismantles his Mercedes to save cat
When a cat loving man from Taiwan was going for a cruise in his Mercedes when he saw two teenagers looking up into a tree along the side of a bridge. He stopped to offer his assistance and found out there was a kitten crying in the tree.
When he tried to climb the tree to rescue the kitten, the cat darted away and fell into the river below.
The man jumped into the river and scooped the kitten up, but unfortunately, the panicked and now completely soaked kitten ran from its rescuers, climbing up inside the engine of the man's Mercedes to hide.
No matter how hard they tried, the kitten would not come out. The man then towed his car to the nearest dealership to have his engine dismantled so that they could free the kitty inside.
The kitten was dried off, fed, and then taken to the vet.
The vet gave the kitten a clean bill of health and said she was probably only 6 months old.
When asked about all the time and effort the man put into rescuing one kitten, he just shrugged and said the real effort would be convincing his girlfriend to let him keep it.
Update: the man adopted the kitten and brought her home!
