Syrian refugee refused to leave his cat behind
This Syrian refugee brought his cat Zaytouna (Olive) with him. He believes you should never leave your loved ones behind.
The Syrian family travelled on a boat and made it safely to Lesbos, Greece. The man kept his kitten cradled tightly to his chest throughout the journey.
They were happy to make it out alive, and collapsed to their knees in thanks. Not only are they grateful of their own lives, but for their cat that also made it safe and sound.
Moments like this help you realize what's really important - which is family. Your pets are included in that.
