Woman saves abandoned 21 year old cat and is taking him on a bucket list of adventures!
This is Tigger, a senior kitty of 21 years who was abandoned at a shelter in Baltimore.

Older cats given to shelters usually don't get adopted, and many live out the rest of their short lives at the shelter or are put down.
Tigger's fate might have been the same, but luckily a woman named Adriene Buisch found him and fell in love. She became his guardian angel.

Adriene, a marketing coordinator at Charm City Veterinary Hospital and former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader, adopted Tigger after seeing a post about him on her neighborhood's community Facebook page.
He was underweight and his fur matted. After taking him to the vet, she learned some devastating news. Tigger's kidneys were failing and he had a golf ball sized tumor. They gave him only 9 months to live.
When asked if she still wanted him, she said of course! She vowed to give him the best life possible.

She brought him to his new home to live out his days. Stuart, her six year old cat, welcomed home Tigger with open paws.

The two instantly bonded.

"Though he is in kidney failure and we found a tumor, he kicks it like a 12 yr old. So we created a bucket list for our old man Tigger…we’ve crossed a few off the list, but this has been his favorite.
Thanksgiving weekend we took him to the beach and he loved it! Literally sunbathed in the sand and walks along the water all afternoon. Needless to say he made a lot of friends as people stopped to pet him and hear his story."

He couldn't stop purring. :)

Adriene plans to take Tigger on a trip to visit family for Christmas.

Tigger is going to live out his last days with plenty of love and seeing the world. We are so grateful for people like Adriene.
She just may be an angel here on earth.
