Missing cat gets "arrested" so he can finally return home
Probably got busted for cat nip possession...
"Our cat was missing for 30 hours before the local police department found him. This is Toby in the back of a squad car on his way home! Courtesy of the officer who rescued him," his owner wrote on reddit.
"He escaped Sunday evening and we had no luck finding him near by. The second night he was missing a neighbor on the street behind us heard a cat crying in their basement and called the cops. They rescued him and matched him to his picture on our town's animal control FB (I reported him missing and they posted it for us). It was pretty late and we were asleep when the cops knocked on our door saying they found him. We were so devastated he was missing and we never expected him to return like this! It was the perfect homecoming."
"I think the cop enjoyed this almost as much as we did," they added. "He was purring loudly when he came home! He was happy to be back with people he knew."
"Toby, you better behave or I'm gonna have you arrested again!"
What a purrrrfect gift for the holidays. :)
