Contrary to popular belief, cats can perform tricks and understand commands just as much as dogs. 

The things with cats though, as we all know, is that even though they understand them, it doesn't mean they're going to listen. 

Like, "Get off the table!" they'll pretend is a foreign phrase, but "Who's hungry?" is very clear...
