After five years of excellent service, this kitty got a much deserved promotion
Felix was just nine weeks old when she was brought in to the Huddersfield Station in West Yorkshire, England, to hunt and keep the pests in control.
After five years of excellent service, she's now been promoted to Senior Pest Controller, that includes her very own visibility jacket and name tag!
She gets generously compensated with treats and pets from human commuters.
Felix has a few 'treat stashes' located all around the station. Even the coffee stall has a bag of treats for her on the counter.
"She still thinks she’s in charge of the whole station like always," Huddersfield Railway Station told Love Meow.
With her new title, she has exceeded all expectations by filling in at the ticket counter, helping with paperwork, providing customer service to commuters while diligently keeping mice at bay.
Ticket barriers were not working one morning, so Felix offered to help out checking tickets.
Guarding this human's bag from any thieves or rodents.
Always making sure the trains are on time.
She keeps the trains running every day.
Who knows whats in store for her. A few more years of service, she might be running the entire show!
Congrats to Felix for years of hard work and service!
