Rescued lion, tiger, and bear haven't left each other's side for over 15 years! (Gallery)
We can learn a lot from our animal friends.
Baloo the bear, Leo the lion and Shere Khan the tiger have spent the last 15 years peacefully coexisting at Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter in Georgia.
Known as the BLT, they were rescued in 2001 from the basement of a house in Atlanta during a police drug raid.
They were kept in the basement in terrible and abusive conditions.
Baloo had to have surgery to remove an ingrowing harness that hadn’t been adjusted as he’d grown.
That was the only time that this trio has been separated.
They've been inseparable ever since!
The trio do everything together and care for each other like brothers. They show each other affection and love each and every day.
They've suffered too many injuries, both physically and mentally, to be rehabilitated into the wild. But, they have and will continue to receive incredible care and love at Noah's Arch Animal Shelter where they can live out their days in peace and with each other.
