Abandoned puppy and orphaned kitten become best friends at shelter... and then THIS happened!
Best friends furever! :)
Chip, a 5-week-old Chihuahua puppy, and Adele, a 4-week-old kitten, were both brought into Operation Kindness, a no-kill animal shelter in Texas, just north of Dallas.
This is Adele, who was found wandering all alone on the streets without her mother.
This is Chip. He was surrendered to the shelter because his owners "could not care for such a young puppy," said Natalie Buxton, the foster mom.

Because they arrived on the same day, the shelter's staff decided to pair the babies together.
They never expected the bond these two would immediately share!

They became inseparable.
They love to snuggle...
And eat together...
And play together!
The shelter saw the incredible bond these two shared, so they decided that they would have to be a package deal for adoption!

And that's what exactly happened. These fur friends were both adopted together!

Now they can grow old together with a loving family :)
