Stevie the blind rescue cat was adopted by Patrick Corr from a local rescue in Ireland about four years ago. He took her in when the shelter couldn't find her a home.
Ever since that first day of bringing her to her forever home, she and Patrick have shared an incredible bond and have gone on many adventures. She's an expert hiker.
"Recently Stevie and I along with my brother climbed Carrauntoohil in County Kerry, Ireland to raise money for local shelters in our area. We wanted to give back to the people who make it their life’s work to helping animals in need," Patrick shared with Bored Panda.

They set off in the early morning. The hike lasted about six hours up and back!
Of course they had plenty of snack breaks.
They even had to set up camp.

But the view was worth it.

"Together we raised over €1500 ($1700)! As with all animal shelters, the costs involved in providing love and care for animals can be quite high but this money will help the good work to continue!
Stevie has earned a well deserved break for now but we’ll be having many more adventures in the future."
