20 year old cat is so happy to be adopted that he can't stop purring (gallery)
A 20 year old kitty was given a forever home to live out his twilight years. He knows he's lucky and he's very grateful!
Meet Oswald the cat!
At 20 years old, he ended up at a shelter which is never good for a senior kitty.
"He was surrendered to a shelter without a name or much of a hope," Karyn Poplin of Kitty Adventure Rescue League told Love Meow.
Karyn took Oswald out of the shelter and into her cat sanctuary where he would have a place to call home.
Oswald just wanted some love, and he didn't even mind getting a much needed bath!
"This guy is a champ. He let me bathe him, and he ate all of the food I put down for him, all he wanted was some chin scritches," Karyn said. "He has the grumpiest old man face but he just loves people. He's a talker too!
Despite his old age and declining health, he won't stop "exploring and getting in the way in true cat fashion."
Since Oswald arrived in his new home, he hasn't stopped purring. "He wants you to know he loves you."
"Welcome home, Oswald!"
We love people like Karyn!
Remember that senior cats need homes too! :)
Share the cute!
