This girl's love for this special needs cat helped seal the hole in his heart
Meet Brooklyn and her beloved cat, Max!
After losing two beloved senior cats, Brooklyn begged for a kitten for her birthday. Her parents initially told her no.
That was until Brooklyn's mom Rhiannon Kostecki, who works at a vet clinic, came across a tiny kitten with special needs.
Max the cat was born at the vet clinic with a genetic abnormality. He suffered from a heart murmur and would need a home that would understand his needs. Rhiannon knew she had to take him in.
On Brooklyn's sixth birthday, she got the best surprise ever. Her reaction is priceless.
Brooklyn and Max have been inseparable ever since.
She's a little angel and is gentle and understanding to his needs.
He always purrs up a storm when he's with her.
Max got stronger each day, and is now a fully healthy fluff ball!
"It appears that Brooklyns' love and care has sealed the hole in his heart and he is a healthy young boy," Rhiannon shared. His heart murmur is gone.
Happy and healthy thanks to Brooklyn!
"Brooklyn has since turned eight and has been busy fundraising for local animal rescue groups. Helping animals is her passion!"
What a little angel!
We need more people like her in this world. :)
