These two now spend every second together! But it wasn't so friendly at first...
"He (left) tried for months to win her (right) heart, and she wanted nothing to do with him. Now they are inseparable."
"The cat on the left is a stray. We named him Q. We brought him in because he was so sweet and affectionate. After a few months, we found this other cat at Petco and decided to adopt her as a playmate for Q. We named her Tiana, or "T" for short. (QT, get it?)" SlyBriFry shared on reddit.
"But she wanted nothing to do with him. Every time he tried to play with her, she would hiss and growl. This went on for months. We were surprised at how patient he was with her despite her nasty behavior."
And here's T.
"His patience finally paid off. They are so close now, one would swear that they are siblings."
"We kept calling him a gentleman, or "gentlecat" because of how patient he was with her.
He would insist on grooming her, and playing with her, and whenever she wanted to eat food even though he was hungry, he would walk away and let her have the rest of his bowl. It was truly amazing to watch."
"He just kept at it… For months! Long after we lost hope, he just wouldn't have it."
He was patient, and he knew she would come around. :)
Love is patient. Love is kind.
