House cat surprises owners with his sheer size... he's as big as a bobcat!
This is no itty bitty kitty.
Meet Samson the cat!
"Samson is a very sweet but a tough cat, who fits the term gentle giant very well," Jonathan Zurbel, Samson's human dad, told Love Meow.
Samson lives in New York with his family, and weighs a wopping 28 pounds. But don't worry, he's purrfectly healthy. This 4-year-old Maine Coon is the size of a fully grown bobcat (or bigger) at around 4 feet in length. "He is not fat or overweight but a strong Husky sturdy cat," the cat dad said.
Samson is a gentle giant. He loves to play and snuggle with his humans.
"When nobody is looking, he'd love to sleep in my bed and cuddle with me. He loves to have his belly pet."
Even as a kitten, Samson was large and in charge.
Look at those ears!
At four years old, he's still growing!
He can barely fit in a normal sized stroller.
And he takes up half the bed when he naps!
This colossal kitty is Zurbel's most loyal and affectionate companion. "He waits by my (bedroom) door and comes in first thing in the morning to sit on my belly.
He purrs up a storm and he loves to massage my belly."
"He is very kind and sweet and a very well behaved cat. He is a dream cat."
Watch the video below of him snuggling with his dad!
