Watching this little kitten learn how to be a cat is the cutest thing ever
Lucy is a foster kitten who is learning how to be a cat... and it's too freakin cute.
"Our new foster kitten was found, alone, in some bushes. A nice lady brought her to @purrfect_pals , who kept the kitten overnight to make sure she was healthy. They do have some concerns about her eyesight, and believe she may have some neurological problems. We will keep an eye on her behavior, and see if we can narrow it down. She also will need to be fed a syringe of kitten food mixed with KMR about every few hours. But so far, she's alert and hungry and acting quite kitten-ish: all great signs that she's a fighter!" foster_kittens shared on instagram.
Here she is learning how to groom herself!
Here she is learning how to hunt!
Learning how to play!
She still has a lot to figure out... like how to eat without getting it all over herself...
Solid Food Training: I gave Lucy a few tastes of her high-calorie slurry with a syringe to remind her that she likes it and wants more. I set out both a bowl and a plate full of slurry so she could practice eating on her own. Felix showed her how to lick off the plate. But Lucy does things her own way. 😂😂 I'll give her the rest of her dinner via syringe and try again tomorrow. Marvin will be thrilled when he sees how deliciously dirty his kitten is.
Being so young, she even has to have her little fur butt wiped to help her go potty.
But this little girl is in great hands and with a little love and patience, she will find the purrfect home to grow old in.
Be sure to follow Lucy on @foster_kittens!
