Cat in shock to see human's girlfriend move into HER territory
When we starting seeing a significant other, a big step is introducing them to the family.
No, we're not talking about your parents or siblings... we mean your fur family.
First impressions can be huge, especially with cats, who are some of the most judgmental creatures on the planet.
So, when Margot the cat found out that her human was seeing someone else, it was no biggie... but then her human's girlfriend left a mark on her territory.
“Just started dating a girl after being single for a long time. My cat was transfixed by the first sight of a bobby pin,” Margot’s dad shared on reddit.
"I'm not sure how long she was looking at it," her owner told The Dodo. "I walked into my room and Margot was just sitting like that and I still had enough time to get my phone and take a picture. I guess I found it humorous because I haven't had a girl over in years and Margot seemed confused at first."
Then the pawing and biting began.
(Note: no kitty or bobby pin were harmed in this video... and Margot's human has since removed the bobby pin away from Margot's attacks)
We’re not exactly sure how Margot feels about the situation. We haven’t yet received comment, for Margot is currently napping by her window.
That being said, this was either taken as an obvious declaration of war, as if planting one’s flag in another land like a conquering warlord… or on a more positive note, this could have been received as a peace offering… and the kitty accepted it by ceremoniously attacking and murdering it.
Which one do you believe is the case?
