A cat, dog, and a rat were surrendered to the shelter after their owner wasn’t able to take care of them anymore.

The little “rat pack” had become such best friends, the shelter knew that they couldn’t ever separate them.

Sasha, the canine, Jack the cat, and Tweaks the rat are a rare but adorable trio.

“Their owner could no longer care for them but they let us know they were very bonded,” Jennifer Ollanketo of The Oshkosh Area Humane Society told Love Meow.

Jack the kitty is visually impaired, and relies heavily on Sasha to help him get around and protect him.

“She calms Jack and if Jack is away from Sasha too long he gets very upset.”

When the vet tried to examine Jack, Jack wouldn’t let him get close until Sasha was brought in.

Tweaks is the oldest of the bunch, but also the most playful. He’s constantly playing with Sasha and Jack, and cuddling with them whenever they sleep.

“The Rat Pack just left for their new home today! We’re all very excited that they all went home TOGETHER,” Jennifer shared with Love Meow.
