That's not a cat. That's a lion!
Meet Omar the Maine Coon!
Omar is owned by Stephy Hirst, of Melbourne, Australia… and he may be the world’s longest cat.
He is measured at about 3 feet and 11 inches (120 centimeters long), which would break the previous record, but that may not be the final measurement as the big kitty still has a couple of years of growing to do.
Ever since he was a kitten, Omar was the size of a full grown cat. He now is about the size and weight of 3 grown cats… and as mentioned, he’s still growing!
Big boy also loves to eat, and his diet is a bit… unique.
"We buy human-grade kangaroo meat at the supermarket," Hirst told the BBC. "It's the only meat we could find that he actually wants to eat."
He doesn't need to jump on the counters, he can reach them just find from the floor!
Omar has received a lot of attention on Instagram, with 40k followers and counting.
Maine Coons are the largest domestic cat breed, but Omar is taking it to another level.
Despite his intimidating size to some, Omar really is a gentle giant.
His favorite thing to do is to cuddle with his parents.
