She adopted a 14 year old cat about to be euthanized. His face says it all!
This senior cat was about to be put down, so a kind woman decided to give him a home to live out his golden years.
His face says it all!
Siegfried the cat was surrendered by his owners due to urinating on the furniture. The shelter, and his new mom, have never reported any issues however.
“When his old owners surrendered him, his hindquarters were covered in mats, and he's actually severely overweight. They seemed to be pretty neglectful. If they couldn't be bothered to feed him correctly or brush him, I also doubt they kept up with his litter box. I haven't had a single issue with him so far so I think it was just (understandably, imo) a behaviour issue.
Plus, I currently have another cat that has kidney problems, so I'm well versed in what that entails. He's in good company. :)” Siegfried shared on reddit.
“I don't know how his old owners were able to give him up! He's seriously the most chill, loving cat. I'm happy I'll get more time with him. :)”
Senior cats need homes too!
