Nobody wanted this pirate kitty until one woman fell in love (Gallery)
Missing and eye and a nasty snarl... this pirate kitty was hoping somebody would give him a chance.
“My name is Wesley the Dread Pirate Roberts and I've had this adorable scalleywag grin of mine since I was a little guy dropped off at my local shelter.”
“I was adopted March 18th, 2015. I was about 4 or so months old by that point. My owner first met me when I was a kitten and was smitten with me right away, but wasn't in a position to have another pet just yet. She was also pretty confident I would be snatched up in no time, since I had such an adorable snarl,” Wesley shared with iizcat.
Wesley’s mom wasn’t sure if he’d still be at the shelter when she returned a few months later, but the snarling cat was still waiting. Everybody else thought Wesley wasn’t cute enough to take home. His mom thought just the opposite!
“As far as how I ended up looking so handsome, nobody really knows. I was found all alone in a parking lot until somebody came along and found me and took me to the shelter.”
Wesley has been going on adventures ever since her was brought home.
“Things I love: I love draping myself over my human's shoulders and having her carry me around the house like I'm royalty. I also love sitting on the barstools and watching her cook. I'm also pretty obsessed with hair bands, although I hear I'm not supposed to play with those. I also love watching the birds (what cat doesn't) and napping in fresh laundry,” Wesley told iizcat.
“What I Hate: loud noises, being held without my permission, and the automatic demon vacuum that torments me daily by accidentally sucking up my toys and bumping my butt.”
We all hate vacuums… oh yes we do.
Wesley’s snarl kept many people away, but his mom loves him just the way he is.
Share the cute!
