Meet the Cat Rapper - a man who raps about our kitties and promotes adoption!
This is Dwayne Molock, a rapper from Maryland, who is known as Moshow... aka the Cat Rapper! (Scroll down for video.)
He's got four kitties of his own that he adores and he uses his musical talents to promote adoption and cat love!
"Here to inspire others Through my Music to prove we can do anything we want to do ♥ Love your CATS! Spread the Cat Love! #CatWorld" he shared on his Facebook page.
His cats Tali, Ravioli, MegaMam & Sushi are of course his biggest fans.
The funny thing is that Moshow wasn't always an animal lover, let alone cats.
He didn't grow up with animals at all, so he said he just wasn't used to them. But that all changed when he hung out with his first cat through a friend.
He met a girl in theatre class who had a black cat named Queenie. When Moshow studied at her house, the cat would perch across from him. "Queenie would just stare at me for hours," he shared with the Dodo. "I noticed she would be closer and closer and closer. Then she was sitting on my lap. As soon as that happened, I wanted that every night I studied. That's when cat fever took over."
Moshow would eventually move to Portland, Oregon, with his now cat-loving girlfriend. And their family would grow.
"I just love cats, man," Moshow says. "I am not afraid to express my love for cats. It's who I am. I am a cat rapper."
